The Human Resource office provides recruitment services for the programs of the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe by advertising open positions for employment, accepting resumes and applications from the public and assisting with the selection process of eligible candidates. Native Preference in employment is the policy of the Tribe and the commitment of the department.
The Human Resources office provides compensation and benefit services to all employees of the Tribe. Payroll is processed bi-weekly for approximately 600 employees in 20 separate locations. The benefits that are provided for employees are Enhanced Life Insurance, Short-term and Long-term Disability Insurance, Workers Compensation Insurance, Unemployment, 401k Plan, self-insured Health Plan and paid leave benefits.
Personnel Policy guidance and interpretation for all staff is the responsibility of the department; employees and managers seek guidance from this office.
