AKWESASNE – (Seskehkó:wa/September 13, 2024) Verizon has announced plans to remove old telephone poles along Route 37 in Akwesasne, starting on September 23 and continuing for a period of six weeks.
The initiative aims to upgrade and modernize the existing telecommunications infrastructure in the area, ensuring improved reliability and efficiency for the community. The removal process will involve careful coordination with local authorities and residents to minimize disruptions during the scheduled work.
