AKWESASNE — The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Council announced that registration is now open for the Tribal Monthly Meeting being held on Saturday, Tsiothohrkó:wa/January 8, 2022. The registration process allows the Tribal Clerk’s Office to verify tribal enrollment, as monthly tribal meetings are intended for membership only.
The Tsiothohrkó:wa/January 8th Tribal Meeting begins at 10:00 a.m. and is being chaired by Tribal Chief Beverly Cook. Due to ongoing COVID-19 cases, it will be a virtual meeting that requires advance registration. Please register before 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 7th by clicking on the following link: https://bit.ly/3pLl68p.
The Tsiothohrkó:wa/January 8th Tribal Monthly Meeting will include an update on last month’s action items, New Business; followed by a COVID-19 Update by the Emergency Operations Center and Health Services and presentations on the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) fund update, and the Tribe’s Capital Projects update.
Tribal members are asked to submit any questions or comments for the January Tribal Monthly Meeting during the registration process or by emailing them to meetings@srmt-nsn.gov. All questions will be posed and answered in the order that they are received.
