Draft 2021 Annual Tribal Budget Presentation Meeting

AKWESASNE – In accordance with the Tribal Procedures Act, adopted by referendum on Ohiarí:ha/June 1, 2013; the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe has taken steps to ensure that financial accountability continues to be provided to tribal membership. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, arrangements have been made to provide an online presentation of the Draft 2021 Annual Tribal Budget at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, Kentenhkó:wa/November 30th.

A link to access the online presentation will be available on the Tribal Members Portal. To access the portal, please visit the Tribe’s website at www.srmt-nsn.gov, click on “Tribal Members” located in the top right corner and follow the instructions provided. If you wish to dial-in by telephone for the budget presentation, please contact the Tribe’s Communications Department at (518) 358-2272 to register and receive the call-in number.

Beginning on Monday, Kentenhkó:wa/November 23rd, tribal members may access a summary of the Draft 2021 Annual Tribal Budget on the Tribal Member’s Portal. A copy can also be requested at the Ionkwakiohkwaróron Tribal Administration Building’s main reception desk prior to the public presentation on Kentenhkó:wa/November 30th.

Following the Kentenhkó:wa/November 30th public meeting, tribal members will have five (5) days to provide any additional comments or concerns about the Draft 2021 Annual Tribal Budget. Comments must be dropped off by Monday, Tsiothóhrha/December 7th at the Ionkwakiohkwaróron Tribal Administration Building or mailed to:

Following receipt of any written comments, the Tribe may hold a second virtual meeting to provide responses to any comments received — prior to its acceptance by Tribal Council Resolution for the coming fiscal year.
