The Saint Regis Tribal Gaming Commission is responsible for regulatory oversight of the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino and the Mohawk Bingo Palace. The Gaming Commission is a wholly independent department of the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe and was created based on the outline provided by the Indian Gaming and Regulatory Act (IGRA).

The Gaming Commission is comprised of three departments: Administration, Gaming Inspectors and Surveillance.

The Gaming Commission ensures that the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino and the Mohawk Bingo Palace are in compliance with State and Federal Regulations for Class II and Class III gaming. They ensure that all employees have received job specific training at least twice per year. In the past, they have had 100% of employees licensed with the National Indian Gaming Commission.
