Human Resources consists of two employees: Juanita Tarbell, Human Resource Director and Patricia Herne, Payroll and Benefits Specialist.  Services are provided to approximately 470 employees in 14 different work sites. 

The department administers the Tribes 401(k) pension plan, St. Regis Mohawk Tribe self-insured Health, Dental and Vision Plan, Hartford Disability Insurance, Life Insurance and Worker’s Compensation.

For the 2007 fiscal year, the Tribe’s total payroll was $16,810,594.41 for approximately 601 employees. 

The Human Resources department provides advice and guidance to all levels of employees regarding their payroll and benefits, as well as Personnel Policy interpretation and employee rights.
