Custodian
Division:Facilities, Administration
Salary: $8.50 per hour
Status: Full-Time, Permanent
Duties:
Under the direct supervision of the Custodian Supervisor, the Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment for the offices and public areas. Some of the duties of the Custodian are: Dust and vacuum offices, clean all bathrooms, Empty trash and recycle on a daily basis. Floor care which includes mopping, stripping, waxing and buffing floors. Be able to assist staff members in moving office furniture, etc.
Qualifications: Knowledge of working area; ability to retain information and coordinate supplies is essential. High school diploma or GED required and three months related experience and / or training. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must possess the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Due to the nature of this position, confidentiality must be maintained.

DRUG TESTING POLICY
The successful applicant for employment must submit to a drug test for illegal substances prior to employment being confirmed. The testing is performed at the laboratory at the Alice Hyde Hospital in Malone, NY. Test results are normally received in three to five days from the date of the test. In the case of a positive result, the candidate is not eligible for employment with the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe. Employment may not begin until this process has been completed.
